FAQ
How much RAM does COBBLEVERSE need?
The pack authors give server guidance of 4 to 6 GB. Pack note: For multiplayer, authors recommend a plan with 6GB RAM or more; actual need depends on friend count..
Is the official figure enough for a server?
The official figure (4 GB minimum and 6 GB recommended) is server guidance from the pack authors. Use it as your floor.
Which Minecraft version and loader does COBBLEVERSE use?
COBBLEVERSE runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric, and the latest release we checked was 1.7.42 (2026-07-21). Your host needs the matching Java version for that Minecraft release.
Do modpacks need more CPU or more RAM?
Both, but modded Minecraft is single-thread bound, so a host with a high clock speed matters as much as the RAM.
